vieimprint is a publishing initiative and collaborative archive project founded in 2025 by Lea Sophia Mair and Alexandra Octavia Corodan, with a focus on building community and fostering exchange around zines and book formats. The project is shaped by feminist traditions of independent and fan-based publishing practice, and operates across the fields of photography, found footage, minor literature, and para-academic writing. A central aspect of the work is an engagement with the materialisation of internet images — images that are often ephemeral and tend to disappear again within digital space. The focus is not on the perfection of print, but rather on a playful approach to pixels, grain, and the translation of digital images into analogue publications.
With BOOK TALKS, FOTO ARSENAL WIEN expands its programme with a new series dedicated to the presentation and discussion of photobooks.
