As part of his master class at FOTOARSENAL WIEN, photographer Peter Rigaud offers insights into his portrait photography – open to everybody. 

Peter Rigaud was born in Salzburg in 1968 and now lives in Vienna and Berlin. A workshop led by Martin Parr marked his first foray into the world of photography. He subsequently studied photo design at the renowned Lette-Verein in Berlin and worked as a photo assistant in New York City, Chicago, and Cleveland. In 1996–97, he lived and worked in New York City, and since 1997 he has been working as a freelance photographer in Vienna. His photos appear regularly in international magazines and publications such as Vogue, Die Zeit (Magazin), SZ Magazin, Stern, Vanity Fair Deutschland, profil and others.
