What happens when we focus on the family? Together, we’ll look at selected works of art from the exhibition and discover how photography guides our gaze, shifts perspectives, and brings stories to life. 

Afterward, we’ll go behind the scenes. In the darkroom, we’ll experiment with light, shadow, and various materials to create our own photograms—images made entirely without a camera. At the same time, we’ll learn about other photographic techniques. Step by step, we’ll create unique works that each family or small group can take home. 

Focus on Family invites children and adults to look closely together, experiment creatively, and playfully discover photography as an artistic medium. Adults are also welcome to continue exploring the exhibition during the workshop. 

No prior experience is required.
