Five voices, five perspectives – five filmic essays on memory, trauma, and what remains untold.
FOTO ARSENAL WIEN presents a work-in-progress screening of the essay film series "Breathing Spaces" by filmmaker Mikal Maldoror, developed from the initiative "Erinnern in Zukunft" at Brunnenpassage Vienna. Across five episodes, international artists explore traces of past and present experiences. Moving between personal stories and collective narratives, the poetic-documentary works bring suppressed memories to the surface and open up diverse, transnational perspectives. The screening will be accompanied by an opening performance and concluded with an artist talk.
