During the exhibition tour of Photo . Brut, we engage with the students in a discussion of key questions arising from the works on display: What is art? Who is an artist? What does art do to us? What role does this play in photography?

A playful task, based on close observation of the works, encourages a deeper and more active understanding of the presented positions. At the same time, it invites reflection on visual worlds, perception, and one’s own media use.
