A workshop on the subject of humans and nature that explores the embedding of an individual as part of nature through the playful creation of portraits. It is about a sensual, experimental exploration and empathy with organic structures and materialities - and an equally creative discovery of photographic translations.

Laurent Ziegler is an interdisciplinary artist working in the fields of photography, painting and mixed media. His work explores aspects of interpersonal relationships, inner processes and dealing with memory. International collaborations are a central part of his practice. Laurent currently works with artists in Europe and Asia and initiated an Arts in Education programme for photography in Sri Lanka. A nomad at heart, his work is exhibited internationally.
