What if plants were more intelligent than we think? What goes on inside them? What effect do photographs of plants throughout time have on us as viewers? During this exhibition tour, we will explore these questions together with the students. We'll formulate our own inquiries—questions that the artists might have pursued in their photographic investigations at the boundary between science and fiction—and reflect on our personal perspectives.
Metamorphoses: After the tour, students will have the opportunity to complete a photography task using their own smartphones in the exhibition space. The resulting images can be used for follow-up discussions back at school.
